Steps to Open Your CDS Account

Download & Install the App

Get the CSE Mobile App from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). It enables fully digital onboarding to open a CDS account, perform e-KYC, and start trading—potentially within 24 hours.

Access the Account Opening Feature

Launch the app and navigate to Our Services → "Open an account" to begin the digital onboarding process.

Look for the "Open an account" option under Our Services menu

Complete Personal Details & e-KYC

Enter your personal information including:

Full Name
Email Address
Mobile Number

Address
Bank Details
Employment Status

Upload Required Documents

Be prepared to upload the following documents:

Selfie
Clear photo of yourself

NIC (National Identity Card)
Front and back sides

Bank Passbook or E-passbook
Provide a clear image of the front page of your bank passbook or e-passbook showing the bank name, branch, and account number

Proof of Residence
If applicable

Submit & Await Verification

Review your inputs, accept the terms, and submit your application. The app supports e-KYC and, based on your data, either:

Instant Access

Via self-registration

Broker Verification

Manual approval process

Confirmation of CDS Account

Following successful e-KYC or broker approval, your CDS account will be activated—often within 24 hours, allowing you to start trading.

Success! You're now ready to start trading on the CSE platform.
